Yellow- in its purest form among the primary colors— is light trapped in pigments. It is associated with energy, warmth and dynamism, but it can also signal caution and even warning. In combination with green, it remains the foreground color that attracts the eye and gives the composition a sense of space.
Green, which lies in the center of the visible spectrum, is its natural counterweight. It symbolises balance, peace and regeneration. It brings harmony and softens the expression of yellow, while itself gaining depth and stability.
Together they create a system in which energy meets calm and light meets the harmony of nature. It is a visual dialogue in which both colors speak the same language, albeit with different tones- like the sun and the grass in an early summer landscape.
