In everyday life, we often don't realize that it is enough to change our perspective to see something completely different. When we look at the world from a bird's eye view, we discover colors, shapes and surprising compositions that are hidden in nature and that have previously escaped our attention. The photos from the "Hidden Colors" project are my search for abstract, expressive images inspired by the painting trend introduced in 1955 - Color Field Painting. Although the difference between this art movement and my photographs seems to be fundamental - it consists in the elimination of nature in order to enhance the purity of form in the quoted art movement - when in my photographs we reject what we "know" from the outset and concentrate on what we "see", objects such as trees, fields or water become extremely expressive surfaces rich in colors and shapes. It is an extraordinary experience when, in communion with nature, we become part of exceptional art. “Searching from above,” I find paintings and compositions close to the works of artists such as Barnett Newman, Mark Rothko, and Clyfford Still.
