Artists have always opened people's eyes and souls. They say that a crisis is not the time for ideals. But it is precisely in times of crisis and the decline of ideals that artists should talk about important and sublime things and remind us so that ideals have a chance to sprout and be reborn...
Paweł Sadaj is a conceptual art photographer who explores the essence of humanity against the background of social and civilisation processes, their impact on the surrounding world, the environment and history. The visual language in his works is in clear contrast to the themes the artist deals with. Paweł's work has been significantly influenced by art history, especially painting. When creating his photographs, he combines art eras and juggles with canons and symbolism. When creating the final work, he does not shy away from combining photography with 3D graphics.
Paweł Sadaj is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Faculty of Graphic Arts, in the following studios: graphic design, poster, intermedia and theatre scenography. He graduated with honours in 2000. Before that, he graduated in artistic photography at the High School of Fine Arts in Gdynia. He lives in Poland. His work has been exhibited in Poland, Germany and Great Britain.
